Team Days |
||
Team Days Why Team Days? Teams live or die by their capacity to communicate. Our specialist approach to teamwork, based on our understanding of Conflict Transformation, means we get under the skin of how a team creates and delivers goals through shared beliefs, trust and honesty.
The content varies depending on the needs of the team. However, the focus of Team Days invariably comes down to 'how people are with each other'. This means we work at developing good processes, e.g. ways of making decisions, creating ideas and solving problems that leaves the team with a deep sense of satisfaction. Of course, because we're specialists in Conflict Transformation, we'll also include how the team manages through difficult times, including topics like outcome thinking as opposed to problem thinking, as well as how to communicate honestly in a way that serves the needs of the team. In the past we have provided everything from emotional team-building for senior managers on the mountains of Wales through to crazy Christmas parties in the Docklands in London. Team Days get their power from bringing up learning that directly relates to the workplace. The beauty of Team Days is this is often done in an oblique way. Team Days may sometimes, but not always, use unfamiliar settings, such as a horse riding school or 'the outdoors'. Whatever the format of the day, it is through experience and self reflection, coupled with sensitive and skilled facilitation, that the learning happens.
